Man, oh man! Do I have a lot of work to get caught up on!

But here are some bridals that I am super excited about. I thought this was going to turn into a disaster. DISASTER! The light was HORRIBLE, it was like a bazillion degrees outside. But I guess you can’t help it when you have such a beautiful bride!!!

As I started this post I thought:

Do I put: {Utah Wedding Photography} – because I am a Utah photographer . . .
or do I put: {Illinois Wedding Photography} – because the wedding was in Illionois. Ah! The dilema!

So here is a sneak peak for Megan & Ben . . .
who’s nuptuals took place about three weeks ago in Nauvoo.

Awesome trip, rockin couple!

Maternity pictures are a great way to document such a momentous time in life. Everything is changing – from your body to your perspective! Maternity pictures can be a great way to preserve the memories of this precious time in life.

You know those people you meet that you instantly like – and you know that EVERYONE instantly likes them? Well that was Leslie, so sweet but so genuine! She and her husband are from Texas, here doing a research internship at the U. They wanted pictures of the Daffodils – apparently they don’t have those in Texas! They chose to have pictures at Red Butte Garden. The setting was lovely, the couple was wonderful, the shoot was a lot of fun!

This is just a preview, more pictures will follow!

I will be out of town until Tuesday, doing a wedding in Nauvoo, Illinois (Wa Hoo!!). When I get home a kajillion new pictures from recent shoots will be coming!

The week was so nice – blue sunny skies . . . and then the morning of their session it rained! Go figure. But the soft light did create a nice effect (even if you can see water drops on my lens on a few pics :D ). We debated a lot of different locations, but the rain demanded we go somewhere indoors – even if the roof was leaky!

It was a beautiful week . . . blue sky, little birds singing, the earth getting warm and green again . . . and then it snowed – the very hour of our photo shoot!

But then the sky cleared just a little, letting the sun absolutely glow on the world-becoming-new.

Which created beautiful light for the pictures.

I think the cold was worth it!

BTW – which of these do you like best and why? I tried some more extreme processing techniques, so {helpful} critiques are welcome! Leave a comment.
