These photos were so much fun because of all the cool, art nouveau architecture and geometric patterns to play with.
I really like these because the brick added a lot of texture and color to the images.
Memory boxes are one of my favorite products . . . something that will be a treasure forever. I like to imagine sixty years from now, some sweet couple opening their little box, the edges slightly worn, to find their greatest memories inside.
But what is a memory box:
It’s a clamshell box that stores your favorite 4×6 photo prints (up to 150).
I custom design each one. They have a favorite photo on the cover, and your name or sweet momento on the spine. These lovely boxes can reflect your style just as much as your photos, with cool retro art, or darling sweet vintage, or any style in between. They make excellent coffee table items – a unique way to display rather than your boring old scrapbook.

My background is in fine art black and white photography -
so seeing a beautiful black and white print still gives me thrills.
I love to see the beautiful shades of grey glowing on the paper.
But that’s just my artsy side.
I also love the soft colors and textures created in the color.

Today we had a lovely afternoon shooting these pictures at this amazing location . . . I think I’d love to do a bridal session there. Can’t you just imagine a bride standing on this porch or in some of these windows? 
Check this girl out! She was SO smiley the entire shoot. Then at the very end she fell peacefully asleep, no fuss, letting me get some sleep shots. Sweet heart!
Newborn sessions are hands down my very favorite photo sessions. It was the birth of my own babies that steered my photography into portraiture in the first place! Now as my babies are growing (oh, it happens so fast) I treasure even more the photos I have of them when they were just new. Family sessions are a lot of fun too. It is neat to see each person’s personality and how they interact together as a family.
Sessions:
Single Session – $100
A portrait session of up to four people* at the location of your choice**
Newborn Session – $135
Newborn sessions can take place at any location of your choice, including my home. I am happy to take pictures of mom, dad, and siblings with the baby, but please be aware that the newborn is the focus of the session. These sessions are usually a little longer than a general family session, and if the baby is having a hard time, I will offer an additional reshoot at no extra charge. Please schedule your newborn session before you have your baby. Once your baby is born, contact me and we will arrange the session within the baby’s first ten days of life. (This is when they are most flexible, and most sleepy).
Belly to Baby - $200
Two sessions, one maternity session and one newborn session.
Baby’s First Year - $270
Three sessions: at newborn, six month, and one year old. Includes a polka dot cake for a “smash the cake” moment in the one year photo session.
Sessions do not include digital or print copies of images. Session fees only pay for photographers time and skill in photographing and editing images.
*An additional $25 per group of four people.
**Does not include my home. An additional $25 charge for locations in counties bordering Salt Lake. Contact me for additional travel options.

Unlike the popular press print books that fall flat of expectation in quality and feel, our Memory Albums are professionally produced and hold actual photographic prints inside.
